Pastor's Welcome

Welcome to Christ's Community Church

Hello! And welcome to our website.

Our congregation is made up of people from varied denominational backgrounds and different walks of life. Some have spent a lifetime in the Fort Wayne area, while others have moved here only recently. Regardless, Christ's Community Church has become important to their lives and has become a real part of their family.

We strive to live out our name by being involved in several Ministries here in our community, passing onto others the blessings, love and grace of our Lord. Fellowship, worship, relationship, stewardship, discipleship and leadership are ways we grow together in our walk of faith.

We know there are many who would like to be a part of the Christian community we are building here. If you are among those, we invite you to join us this Sunday. You will find information about this Sunday's schedule on our Home Page, and if you require a map or directions, please access our Where We Meet page.

The WELCOME Class

"Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household. In Him the whole is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord." Ephesians 2:19, 21 (NIV)

You want to know more about Christ's Community Church? Pastor Matthews conducts a WELCOME Class to share information about our Church and its beliefs. If you are interested in attending a Class, please contact our Pastor, by telephone or email, and let him know of your interest.

The WELCOME Class schedules are announced on our Special Events page. Childcare can be provided (please let us know in advance).

This informal and highly interactive session includes the following topics:

what worship is and what it means to our Church;
what evangelism does and does not mean to us;
the importance of lay leadership in our Church;
Church membership expectations and small group involvement;
organizational structure, leadership, responsibilities and offices at both the denominational and local levels;
beliefs, creeds and key doctrines of our Church;
goals and measurements, both as individuals and as an organization.

The Class is designed to be informative; to help you determine your fit with the beliefs of our Church; there is no obligation by attending the WELCOME Class. Membership is a separate decision.
