Youth Group Activities

The High School and Middle School youth of our Church have furnished and decorated their own room, complete with a refrigerator, TV and VCR, computer and Ping-Pong table. They also are involved in a variety of activities throughout the year.

The youth have journeyed to Kershaw, South Carolina for a mission trip, traveled to Kentucky Kingdom (a Six Flags park) to have a blast on rides only younger people can enjoy, participated in a "Destination Unknown" event, went on a camping trip to Chain O'Lakes State Park and made a puzzling trip to the Corn Maze, served meals at the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission, have been skiing at Pokagon Park, been bowling, and have had Laser Tag and Paintball events. They have other trips, events and lock-ins planned, and they participate in programs and activities of interdenominational groups, such as Youth for Christ.

The Youth meet at the Church every Sunday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM for a time of Bible Study together. Last year's events included: Tuesdays at the Movies, swimming, biking, camping and a trip to Indiana Beach. The group also helped with VBS and is having "Lunch & Devotions" at local restaurants. The youth is collecting empty laser toner cartridges, empty ink jet cartridges, and used cell phones. If you have any of these items, please drop them off in the designated box in the narthex.
